I support a one week extension, perhaps without telling linguist list folks, but just internally to PU. Last year we got a bunch more subs when we extended.
i agree with alex, especially because by extending the deadline for the working papers (by only one week!!!) we got much higher quality work and more in terms of quantity overall. is there going to be a group vote on this??
I agree with Alex and Alyson. If there is no objection, let's make a final CFP with the deadline 18-February-2008 (Monday, 9:00pm). I hope this is fine with everybody. I prefer the final CFP both internal and external.
