Urgent Business

There are two things we need to do:

1) Vote in the poll at the right (apparently it did work) before Thursday night at 6:00 P.M.

2) Come up with a catchy but sophisticated (serious) idea for a title for our working papers. If we use the words "Working Papers" in the title, we need to specify "Purdue Linguistics Association" in some way so as not to interfere with possible future working papers that the J62 linguistics programme might put out.

Thank you for the votes! You can see the results on the blog. So, our symposium will be held on March 29, 2008.
On our publication---we will have two issues (peer reviewed and edited) a year. The first one will be ready by the symposium and the second one is sort of 'proceedings' of the symposium and will be ready after the symposium. We are still looking for suggestions for the title of the publication.

Sorry Alyson. I will make you a cake, and I promise it won't say "Feliz Cumpleanos."
